These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Polar application and related services ("Services") provided by GoldenBasis, Inc. ("Polar," "we," "us," or "our").
By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our Services.
What Polar Does: Polar is a financial technology company that helps users manage self-custody wallets on supported blockchains and connects them with third-party partners for financial services such as moving funds into and out of wallets and accessing U.S. virtual bank accounts. Polar is not a bank or money transmitter. Polar is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business (MSB) but operates a non-custodial model and does not custody customer funds. All regulated financial services are provided through our licensed and regulated partners.
To use our Services, you must:
We may restrict or deny access to users in certain countries or regions where we cannot offer Services due to legal, regulatory, sanctions, operational, or partner requirements.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate information including your name, date of birth, email, phone number, and other information required for identity verification.
You must complete our identity verification process to access most features. We use this information to comply with legal requirements and prevent fraud.
Based on our risk assessment, we may request additional documentation from you, including proof of address, employment information, source of funds, expected transaction activity, and the purpose of your account.
By using our Services, you agree that we may create self-custody wallets on your behalf that you own and control on supported blockchains.
Polar may require authorization to carry out certain actions through the app. You may revoke Polar's access at any time.
If you revoke Polar's access, you will no longer be able to use Polar to manage your wallets, but you will continue to own and control them and may access your private key or seed phrase to use them elsewhere.
We help you create and manage self-custody wallets on supported blockchains. You own and control these wallets.
